Tour to Pyramids & The Egyptian Museum

Overview

A Tamer Safari representative will pick you up from your hotel for a day exploring the Giza plateau and the Egyptian Museum. You will see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus and then move on to the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple that belongs to the pyramid of Chephren. Along the way you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of art and is considered one of the most significant collections of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artefacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewellery that remained enclosed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the trip.
