West Bank Wonders at Kings Valley and Hatshepsut Temple

We had an outstanding experience in Luxor and on a boattour with Dahabiya Nile Sailing with Shaimaa Hussein as our guide. Shaimaa organized drivers, advised on our itinerary, made sure we were safe and comfortable and shared her encyclopedic knowledge and obvious passion for the south, its people, places and all things ancient Egyptian. We learnt so much from Shaimaa - she really brought the temples and sites of the south alive, and we are so glad we had her as our guide. We really recommend her, she is the best guide we ever had.

We had several tours with different guides during our trip, and Shaimaa was by far the best! We learned so much without being overwhelmed with too much information or being questioned as we had with another guide, and she made the experience really enjoyable. Would not have gained so much from the tomb visits without going with Shaimaa. She was also very respectful and did not ask us to have photos taken with her, which our other guides did. Highly recommend, and wish we had been able to book her for our other tours! Felt very safe in the clean bus her driver used too

I had 3 different guides whilst in Egypt and I wish I had Shaimaa for all of those as she was by far the best. Everything was explained clearly and at a good pace, not drawn out. She told the stories and explained the history excellently. Shaimaa gave us all of the best recommendations for the best temples to see in the valley of the kings. Definitely worth booking in with, wish we had her for more of our tours.

Shaimaa was a lovely tour guide, very knowledgeable and very patient. She knows the best places to see and go, describing all of the artwork and carvings in the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Workers and Habu temple perfectly- you really got a feel for the place and the meaning behind each scene depicted which made the experience far more valuable. We spent the morning with her and I couldn't begin to tell you all of the fascinating things she taught us.
