West bank Ramesseum, Setti I temple & nobles tombs
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
You will explore a cluster of ancient temples beginning with the temple of Seti, the father of Ramesses II. As you move through its ruins, you’ll encounter the art and layout that link it to the great royal mortuary traditions of ancient Egypt. The visit continues to the Temple of Ramesses III, often called Habu Temple. This temple stretches roughly 150 metres and follows an orthodox design that closely resembles the mortuary temple of Ramesses II, known as the Ramesseum. Along the way you will also be able to see other shrines within the Habu complex, including the Temple of Amun, which dates to the 18th Dynasty and was built by Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. You’ll notice that many parts of these structures have been altered and modified over the years, reflecting changes across different periods. The experience lets you compare architectural styles and later additions as you move between these important monuments.
