Overview

On arrival at Cairo airport, a Visitors Egypt Tours guide will be waiting for you outside the terminal exit gate, holding a sign with the company name. You will travel by air-conditioned car to the Giza plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, the only remaining landmark of the ancient Seven Wonders. From the panoramic area you will view the Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, then move on to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx for closer photo opportunities and context. You will then visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where you will have the chance to see the collection of King Tutankhamen, including his famous golden mask. Additionally, you can opt to visit the Mummies Hall (an extra ticket purchasable on site), where the mummies of ancient Egyptian kings are displayed. After the museum visit you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport, allowing time before your flight.
