Overview

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and begin a full-day tour of Cairo’s most iconic sights, starting at the legendary Pyramids of Giza. On the Giza plateau you’ll see the ancient monuments up close and take in the iconic Sphinx. Along the way you will have an Egyptian lunch. You will then visit the Citadel of Mohamed Ali, where you’ll be introduced to the Turkish‑designed Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. The tour will finish in the exotic, colourful Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar — a shopper’s paradise and a photographer’s dream. Here you can see Al‑Azhar Mosque and wander the unique Islamic streets and complex. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel in Downtown Cairo.
