Overview

You’ll have the opportunity to experience Cairo and Luxor on a budget, visiting some of Egypt’s most famous sites. In Cairo, you will see the Giza three pyramids together with the Sphinx and the adjoining Valley Temple. The programme also includes a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where you can view a wide range of ancient Egyptian artefacts and contextualise the monuments you’ll encounter. The journey continues to Luxor, where you will explore the vast temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor. You will also visit the Valley of the Kings, home to the royal tombs, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Along the Nile’s west bank you will see the colossi of Memnon as well. Throughout the experience you’ll move between major archaeological highlights, with opportunities to learn about the people and history connected to each site.
