On this private tour of Luxor’s East Bank, an Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor or from Luxor airport and transfer you by minivan to the temple sites. At Karnak you’ll explore a well‑preserved complex of temples and halls that date back over 3,000 years. As you move through the site, your guide will explain the history behind the giant columns of the Hypostyle Hall, you’ll walk the Avenue of the Sphinxes and see other notable features that reveal the scale and ritual importance of the complex. You’ll then visit Luxor Temple to admire its columns, open courts and statues, and to learn how later rulers such as Tutankhamun and Alexander the Great added to and embellished the site.
