Overview
Visit Alexandria, Egypt’s second city, and explore a mix of ancient ruins and coastal sights. You will walk among rock-cut Roman catacombs and the remains of a Roman temple complex, then move on to the coastal fortress of Qaitbey Citadel. Please note that the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will be closed from 26 to 29 May for Eid al-Adha; on those dates your visit to the library will be replaced by a visit to the Romanian Theatre. At other times the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is included as part of the visit.
