Overview
You will visit the Giza plateau to see the three great pyramids of King Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure, watched over by the rock-cut statue known as the Sphinx. On site you will view the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world still standing today, alongside the neighbouring royal monuments. The trip also includes the Saqqara complex, associated with King Zoser and his step pyramid, which is considered the first pyramid in Egypt. You will also explore Memphis, one of the ancient Egyptian capitals until around 2,200 BC, known as a cult centre for the god Ptah; there you will find temples and monuments dedicated to him. After visiting these sites, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
