Overview
On the ancient West Bank in Luxor, you will see some of the area’s most famous monuments and learn about their history from a licensed Egyptologist. The route includes the Valley of the Kings (Necropolis of Thebes), where royal tombs and funerary chambers tell stories of pharaohs and burial customs. You will also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, noted for its monumental terraces and funerary architecture. Along the way, the tour will take you to the Valley of the Artisans (Deir el Medina), a workers’ village that offers insight into the daily lives of those who built the tombs. You will also explore the Temple of Medinat Habu, the mortuary complex associated with Ramses III, and stop to see the Colossi of Memnon, the pair of imposing statues that stand guard over the plain. A licensed Egyptologist will guide your visit, and you will be transported between sites in an air‑conditioned vehicle, so you can focus on the monuments and the stories behind them.
