Private From Luxor/Aswan/Hurgha To Dendera/Abydos Hathor & Seti I
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
Available from Luxor, Aswan or Hurghada, this private tour takes you to two of Upper Egypt’s most remarkable temple sites. You will drive past picturesque villages and through the city of Qena to the Denderah Temple, built in the 1st century BC by Ptolemy VIII and Queen Cleopatra II. One of Egypt’s best‑preserved temples, it is dedicated to Hathor — the goddess and mother of the pharaohs, associated with maternity, love, music and the celestial. As you move through the temple you can visit the crypt and the roof, where a copy of the famous Denderah Zodiac can be seen. After lunch in a good local restaurant, the tour continues to Abydos to explore the Great Temple of Seti I. This distinctive L‑shaped limestone monument is noted for its fine decorations and for the famous Kings List carved into its walls. At the end of the day you will be brought back to your hotel in Luxor.
