Overview
From Cairo, you'll travel overnight by sleeper train to Luxor for two days of touring the city's great ancient monuments. The experience centres on the most iconic sites around Luxor, giving you time to explore large temple complexes and historic monuments across the area. You will visit Karnak and Luxor Temples and see the famous Colossi of Memnon. The itinerary also includes the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple, where you can walk among royal tombs and temple façades. Along the way you'll also visit Dendera and Medinet Habu, taking in a variety of temple architecture and reliefs that span different periods of Egypt's history. After the two days of sightseeing, you'll return back to Cairo by train.
