Luxor over day from Hurghada
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
This experience takes you to some of ancient Egypt’s most iconic sites along the Nile. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, and Hatshepsut Temple, built for the queen who assumed kingly power. Hatshepsut was loved by many but remains a figure of historical controversy, and the temple reflects her unusual story and royal ambitions. You will also explore Karnak Temple, where a narrated show relates the glorious achievements of several great pharaohs and provides a poetic description of the artistic treasures and enduring legacy housed there. At the nearby Temple of Luxor, built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, you’ll see the setting for the festival of Opet — a ritual meant to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with his divine office. Please note that the tombs of the great pharaoh Ramses II and the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun are not included; tickets for those are available for purchase from your guide.
