Hurghada Sunrise Desert Safari Experience & The Dry Canyon

Overview

You will be picked up from your location and driven into the desert by friendly safari guides. Along the way you will have a unique chance to watch the shining stars of the Hurghada sky. After arriving in the hills, you will hike to a distinctive mountain top to see the magnificent desert sunrise and savour an oriental breakfast amid the rocky landscape. The trip continues to the magnificent oasis of Wadi Melaha, where a water spring and lovely palm trees create a striking contrast with the surrounding dunes. To reach the dry canyon known as Wadi Billy, you will drive about 25 km through the desert. From more than 150 metres above sea level you can enjoy a wide, panoramic view of the canyon and the sunrise. You will then enter the dry canyon, once covered by Red Sea water millions of years ago, and can look for coral and seashell fossils among the rocks. The experience combines desert scenery, geological history and quiet moments in remote natural settings.
