As you move through the galleries you will explore the museum’s two main floors — the ground floor and the first floor — and see a wide range of objects that illustrate Egypt’s long history and culture. The layout will let you take in different periods and types of artefacts as you go from one floor to the next. A knowledgeable guide will accompany you throughout the visit and will give you useful information about Egyptian history along the way.
