Overview

You will travel to the west side of Luxor in a private, air-conditioned minibus and enjoy views of the surrounding landscape as you go. Along the way you will have opportunities to gaze at and photograph some of Luxor’s most famous ancient sites on the west bank of the Nile. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground where more than 90 tombs have been found and excavations continue to this day. After a short rest break, you will drive to the separate site of the Valley of the Queens, which contains only three tombs—one belonging to a queen and two to princes. The visit also includes the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a structure often regarded as a masterpiece of ancient architecture, where you can explore its terraces and architectural features.
