Overview
You will explore the wonders of Luxor on both the east and west banks of the Nile, taking in some of Egypt’s most significant archaeological sites. The ancient city of Thebes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, spans these banks. On the east side you will admire the vast rooms, obelisks and the Sacred Lake within the Karnak complex. Along the way you will follow the Avenue of the Sphinxes that links to Luxor Temple, where impressive statues of Pharaoh Ramses II stand.
