Overview
You will start your trip in Cairo, where guided visits will take you through the city's principal sights and give you an introduction to Egypt’s rich history and culture. Time in Cairo will set the context for the river portion of the journey and allow you to experience the capital before you fly south. After Cairo you will fly to Luxor to board a traditional Sandal Boat for a cruise along the Nile Valley. The cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan, allowing you to see what the provider describes as the best of the Nile Valley between those two cities. Along the way you will travel the river, enjoy the riverside landscapes and learn about the region’s importance in Egyptian history. At the end of the river section you will fly from Aswan back to Cairo for your return home.
